Marieka started out as a shoe and bag designer, drawn to the world of form, color, and texture. With a designer’s eye and a love for detail, she spent years creating pieces that told stories through materials and shape. But over time, her creative focus began to shift: from designing objects to capturing moments.

What began as a personal passion for photography, documenting favorite cafés, hidden food spots, and the beauty of everyday life naturally evolved into something more. The camera became her new tool for storytelling, allowing her to blend her design background with a visual style that felt both instinctive and deeply personal.

Today, Marieka works as a photographer with a focus on food, lifestyle, and place. Her images go beyond simply showing a dish or a space, they capture the vibe, the creative energy behind it, and the story waiting to be told.

Design taught her to see with intention. Photography taught her to feel it. And somewhere in between, she found her voice.
